General
- A complimentary "Meet and Greet" consultation is required for the pet sitter to meet you and your animals in order to better understand your needs.
- ElizaPets Plus requires that all animals have a visit at least once a day.
- ElizaPets Plus will not share pet care responsibility for liability reasons.
- Extra fees will be charged for changes made that are unknown to the sitter prior to the first visit (e.g., an animal that wasn't discussed at the Meet and Greet).
- No refunds are given for early returns except in special circumstances.
- The key and garage door opener will be returned in person upon request after the last visit. Arrangements will be made for this to happen.
Overnight Stays:
A deposit of 50% of the total approximate charges is required in order to reserve the dates for overnight stays.
For sits over holidays or SJUSD school breaks (see Calendar page), the sit may be cancelled up to two weeks prior to the first scheduled visit for a full refund of the deposit. There is no refund if cancelled within two weeks.
- For sits during the summer (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend) that are NOT over a holiday, the sit may be cancelled up to one week prior to the first scheduled visit for a full refund of the deposit. There is no refund if cancelled within one week.
For sits NOT over holidays or SJUSD school breaks or during the summer (see Calendar page), the sit may be cancelled by 12 noon two days prior to the first scheduled visit for a full refund of the deposit. There is no refund if cancelled within 48 hours.
Cancellations must be be done in writing, preferably by email to ElizaPetsPlus@gmail.com.

- If the balance is not paid by the first visit, a late fee of $10 per day will begin to be applied seven days after the completion of the session.

- No deposit is required to reserve dates for daily visits, but please submit your request as early as possible.
